Corporate accounts at Qovex can be set up with multiple user accounts, so that different individuals can all access the same corporate account. This means that each employee accessing the same company's corporate account at Qovex has their own account, credentials and permissions in line with their assigned role.
If you already have a corporate account opened at Qovex and would like employees accessing it to have separate user accounts with limited permissions according to their role, please take the following steps:
First, log in to your Qovex account, go to Support page and open a new ticket (or email us at ) to let us know that that your company needs segregated user accounts.
You will be asked to provide a list of users with all required information (see list below) and the relevant verification documents for all individuals who need to be verified.
Once all the information is checked and users verified, our onboarding agents will enable account access for all requested individuals.
Those individuals will receive an email with a 72h expiration link to verify their account (set password and 2-factor authentication).
When users verify their accounts, they will have a segregated access to the corporate account in line with their role. Each user is limited by the permissions of their role and all actions are properly logged for everyone.
Name & Surname
Valid Email address
Role that should be assigned to the user (see list below)
Valid ID document (scan/photo)
Proof of residence document (scan/photo)
Other information when required (SSN for example)
There are several predefined roles that you can assign to different users based on their role within your company. Only a single role can be assigned to each user and that role can only be changed by Qovex support. Each role has its own set of permissions that are not configurable.
Account Manager This role should be assigned only to individuals who manage your Qovex account and are entitled to unlimited permissions. It has all permissions enabled on the corporate account, so the user with this role can read all data, make all actions and manage all settings. It is the only role that can manage PSD2 and other third-party apps connections, manage SMS pricing alerts, view and upload documents and deactivate the Qovex account. This account should be kept extremely secure and with limited access.
Administrator This role is made specifically for managing sub-accounts. User with this role can only see the account balance and create or delete sub-accounts. This role has no permissions for trading or cash management (views or actions).
API Administrator This role is made specifically for API keys management. User with this role can only see the account balance and create, delete, enable and disable API keys. This role has no permissions for trading or cash management (views or actions).
Cash Manager This role is intended for users that will make deposits and withdrawals. It has permissions to view balance, transactions and orders. It can also make all types of deposits and withdrawals, manage whitelisted bank accounts, move funds between sub-accounts and manage staking. However, it does not have permissions for trading, so no placing or cancelling orders and no OTC.
Trader This role is intended for users who will place orders. Users with this role have permission to see balance, transactions and orders. They can also create and cancel orders, use OTC trading, move funds between sub-accounts and manage staking. But they cannot make any deposits or withdrawals.
Read-only user This role is intended for users who only need to have read access to balance, transactions, open orders and orders history with options to export that data. But users with this role cannot perform any operational (trading, cash management) or administrative tasks (sub-account, API).
Note
For users with segregated access, the Qovex mobile app will be available, but with limited scope - only to view balance(s) and confirm withdrawals (if their role permits it).
If an individual has functions in several companies on Qovex, they must have separate account with segregated access set up for each company.
Qovex offers a withdrawal approval system for multi-user corporate accounts, adding an extra layer of security. This system requires at least two people to review and authorize withdrawals before they go through. It's a great way to prevent mistakes, fraud, and other risks to your company. You can customize the system to fit your needs by setting limits and approvals. Discover how it works and the steps to enable it on our FAQ page on withdrawal approvals for multi-user accounts.
