Everything you need to know about Algorand (ALGO) staking at Qovex

Staking and Lending is not available in the US, UK, Singapore, Japan and Canada.

Do I need to manually stake my ALGO on Qovex?

No, ALGO is automatically staked, and you do not need to take any additional steps. In case you do not want to receive any staking rewards, please go to the Earn page and opt out.

How and when are the ALGO staking rewards distributed?

You start earning rewards a day after you acquire some ALGO on your account. ALGO staking rewards are determined by the ALGO blockchain, sourced from the Algorand Community Governance Program and distributed quarterly at the end of each governance period.

How much do I earn by staking and how are rewards distributed?

The size of the rewards depends on how much you have staked, how much competition there is in the Algorand Community Governance Program and other factors.

To see the latest staking rewards, please see the Qovex Earn - Crypto Staking page.

Can I trade, stake, or withdraw my rewards?

Yes, there is no lock-up period with ALGO, and you can withdraw and trade your assets at will. Additionally, any rewards received are automatically added to your base staking amount in your main account.

Are there any risks associated with ALGO staking on Qovex?

ALGO staked assets remain in Qovex’ s custody, are fully liquid and there are no slashing penalties. However, ALGO staking is not risk-free, since staked assets could potentially face protocol and other risks, leading to loss of rewards.
