James Sullivan

With over 15 years of experience in leadership roles within financial service institutions, James is a seasoned General Counsel known for his extensive expertise in compliance, regulation, and operations across diverse sectors including banking, cryptocurrency, funds, private equity, equities, and real estate.

James made the transition to Qovex in 2023 from Ziglu, a prominent crypto and e-money institution in the UK and Europe. At Ziglu, he held the position of Chief Risk & Legal Officer, overseeing legal matters, risk management, and compliance, including new licensing initiatives. Prior to this role, he led the legal team at Monzo Bank. As a UK Solicitor, James holds an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School in London. He is a regular speaker at external events, contributing his insights to the broader industry discourse.
